20/20 Insight is a 100% black owned development agency established in 2008. Our primary focus is driving the growth of small and medium sized enterpises as part of the solution to South Africa’s high unemployment and poverty.
Karabo started his career in 1998 as a currency trader and later currency derivatives trader with Standard Bank and then ABSA Bank. In 2006 he left the financial markets world to begin his business career, establishing and managing a restaurant in Sandton, Johannesburg.
He founded 20/20 Insight in 2008, working with Barloworld Siyakhula on their various enterprise development initiatives. He helped Siyakhula in its development of SMEs, conducting company diagnostics, business plans, turnaround strategies, business performance monitoring and reviews and then training and mentorship of SME owner-managers in financial management, business optimisation and strategy formulation and management.
He holds a B.Com Honours degree in Business Management; B.Com degree in Economics and Financial Management, and a Certificate in the Mathematical Modelling of Derivatives from UNISA. He also has a Financial Markets Dealing Certificate from the ACI – Financial Markets Association. Karabo currently sits on the Investments and Innovations Committee of the Board of the Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA).
Raheel has over 20 years’ experience in Business Management and has various qualifications in Business Management and Operations.
As an entrepreneur, Raheel has successfully owned and opened 3 businesses. Two of these have been in fast food and casual dining and the third in business consulting. Her successes have been validated by various awards.
She has successfully provided services in Franchising, Logistics, B2B amongst other sectors. Her core and proven skills are in business improvement and improving efficiencies through applying Lean methodologies.
Raheel’s personal interests include reading, poetry and picnics while juggling being a blessed mom of 2 daughters and a spoilt wife. Her role as Chief Operations Officer at 20/20 Insight allows her to deliver on her passion both as an Entrepreneur and in SME Development.
Muzi has fifteen (15) years extensive experience in programme Management, SME development, and Human Capital Development from both the public and private sector. He worked for the South African National Parks (SANParks) as Programme Implementation Manager and later joined the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) as Training Manager respectively.
Muzi holds a MA Degree in Development Studies (UNISA), Hons Degree in Development Studies (UNISA), BA in Human and Social Sciences (UNISA), Diploma in Project Management (Damelin), Diploma in Youth Development (UNISA), and Diploma in Education (Department of Education).
Muzi is passionate about ESD Programme Management and SME development. Muzi is a health fanatic, and also a comrades marathon.
Keith Jage started working for 20/20 Insight in 2013 as a bookkeeper. He has since performed various function within the organisation including roles in the accounting function and ESD departments. Keith heads the funding team and manages relationships with funding institutions. Keith is passionate about funding and enjoys financial modelling
Keith is a holder of a BSc (hons) In Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University in the UK. Keith also holds a diploma and an advanced diploma in accounting and business from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and he is studying toward his ACCA designation.
Keith’s personal interest include participating in activities like chess, Cricket and rugby. Keith also enjoys attending live social events.
Rofhiwa Nemokula is an admitted attorney who is passionate about law, transformation, business and development. Rofhiwa has a background specializing in black economic empowerment transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial law. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Public Policy & Administration and Industrial Sociology and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the University of Cape Town.
She is currently studying towards Post Graduate Diploma in Risk Management with the University of South Africa.
Rofhiwa’s leadership roles and work experiences have provided her with indispensable skills and she is constantly learning with the aim of developing herself and others. She enjoys eating good food, which is the only reason she learned how to cook good food and loves interacting with people from different walks of life.
